This webinar will discuss main scenarios related to imports which can trigger usage of the Customs Reconciliation program. The reasons why the program usage is triggered will also be reviewed. We will then review an example of how to calculate the reconciliation values for practical application. Finally, we will review the basics on the preparation and filing of a Reconciliation entry with CBP.

We will focus on the following in this presentation:

·     Practical application: Review a sample scenario and demonstrate the calculation process, to add to a trade professionals toolkit

·     Review the process for preparing the information for a Reconciliation entry, and then the steps involved in filing the entry with CBP.
